Japanese National Tourism Organization

The Japanese National Tourism Orginzation (JNTO) wanted to create a global digital advertising campaign where tourists would be able to design their own itinerary for Japan through an interactive web platform. This was created through Wirewax (Vimeo) and was something the Travel & Tourism industry hadn't really seen. My role was to help develop assets for JNTO's campaign, 'We Are Japan', a collaboration with All Nippon Airways.

This interactive platform became a unique selling point for Kemosabe (current agency), pitching the platform to new, potential clients. But they needed a brand for the platform and so 'Itineriser' was born. I designed Itineriser's  brand identity, demonstrated in the example video above.

The platform also needed an icon which would represent the 'We Are Japan' campaign. This would sit amongst social media icons i.e an email signature.

The 4 videos of Japan in the campaign contained sections that users could discover more and add the activity to their itinerary. One of my roles was to artwork these videos and format each for other languages, making sure they were consistent.
