3 years of university, DONE- What's next?

So after 3 years, countless sketchbooks, glue sticks and late nights/early mornings I've finally completed my BA (Hons) Graphic Design degree at Nottingham Trent University! Wooooo!

Now it's time to face 'adult life' (*internal scream).

This time last year I was getting ready to go to America, working at Camp Timber Tops for just over 2 months and travelling for a month after. It was one of the best decisions that I've made and experiences I've had (so far) and recommend it to anyone who wants to explore the world and absorb culture.

But this year it's a bit different and I need to start saving for my next adventure and general life. This involves getting a job! Luckily, for the time being I've been working on some projects for clients such as a new sports massage business and a music brand identity (WATCH THIS SPACE). So that's really exciting and I can't wait to see them all come together!

One place I've always wanted to visit is Japan! The culture is so different from here in the UK and I think it would be a great eye-opener and am already getting excited just writing about it!! I've always wanted to go and have set myself the long-term goal of going before I'm 25. So next year is the year of Japan!

Another thing I want to get back into is languages! I took French at A Level but would love to learn Spanish, especially seeing that it's the second most spoken language in the world (and it also sounds amazing)!

As for university, there's the degree show which I need to prepare for, hence why I've finally created my website. Our show is on June 3rd to 10th in the Arkwright Building, Nottingham. This link provides more information about the show.

As well as work, I also plan on just taking time to enjoy Nottingham and spend time with friends before we all go our separate ways.

Hopefully I'll see you at the show!
