Introducing Kelly Jane...

It all began in Summer 2016 when I met this amazingly talented individual at Camp Timber Tops, Pennsylvania, USA. We were both working as Camp Councelors and soon became close friends, ending our summer travelling from the east to west of America.

Since then we've stayed very close friends, with our little visits and catch up calls. However this girl has got so much going for her and has just launched an EP which is just something else! I feel so honoured that I was part of her journey...

I remember first gathering ideas for Kelly and her branding on the plane to San Fransisco. She wanted something Cuban, Lion related, patterns, oranges, gold... yes, she was a bit vague and there were lots of ideas, but we managed to narrow it down. During my final year at university I continued to work on the project with her, developing the ideas term by term until we had a direction. Then when Kelly was signed I was over the moon when she told me that her manager wanted to use some of our ideas!

That's when the launch date came!

On Tuesday 12th December 2017, Kelly Jane released her EP - 'Took Some Time', which included five new songs she wrote (I know, too talented!). Her website was also launched and the songs were made available to download on Spotify!

As for my contribution to the branding, I created the typography of her name (hand rendered); the leaf patterns which are included in some of her promotional imagery and supplied art direction for how her brand/identity could look in general...
